The Mile Away
Welcome to The Mile Away — a family-owned bar and grill located in Council Bluffs, Iowa! Since taking over in April 2022, we’ve been proud to grow a team made up of close family and friends. Our mission is simple: to create a fun, welcoming, and memorable experience where everyone feels at home the moment they walk through our doors.
We take serious pride in our food. Our menu features mouthwatering burgers, loaded phillys, crave-worthy sandwiches, fresh salads, and weekly specials you’ll want to come back for. Pair it with one of our handcrafted drink specials or keep it classic with an ice-cold beer or affordable well.
Looking for something more than just food and drinks? Head upstairs to the Upper Level—our reimagined, social lounge complete with pool tables, dartsboards, cornhole, Leagues through NTS, Pool Tournaments every weekend, full bar, and our tiki-lit booze deck, the Upper Level is your new favorite spot to hang out!
During the summer months, don’t miss our recreational and competitive sand volleyball leagues—with a court-side bar ready to keep you refreshed between sets.
