Spring season begins the week of April 24th
Summer season begins the week of July 10th
Each season is 10 weeks, consisting of a 9 week regular season
(8 weeks of play plus 1 bye-week) and a season tournament on the 10th week.

Yes... No... Sorta!
Weeknight League: All players must be over 16 to play.
Sunday Family League: All players must be over 12 (1 adult minimum per team)
(We are a family friendly bar and kiddos are welcome at all games, but please, children MUST be actively supervised by an adult at all times and kept clear of courts during games.)
Recreational vs Competitive: Both Rec & Comp follow the same basic rules with the exception that in the Recreational league there are NO jump serves and NO spikes!
Family League: IS for families! We ask that everyone be at least 12 years or older and that at least 1 adult is playing at all times. Overhand serves, jump serves and spikes are not allowed. This is a FUN, self-scoring, non-competitive league!
The price per 6 person team is $120.00 and that includes a season tournament on the 10th week!

Absolutely! We have a court-side beer hut with a variety of cold beer, well drinks, soda, bottled water, seltzers and more! Hungry? Our lower main bar has a delicious new menu with tasty apps, juicy burgers, and daily specials!
While we do allow you to bring in coolers with food & non-alcoholic beverages, we ask that you refrain from glass bottles or containers. All ALCOHOL MUST be purchased on site. We reserve the right to check coolers if needed and any team bringing in outside alcohol will be removed from the league and forfeit the remainder of games.
YES! We have a hose next to our beer hut!
If a team cannot make the scheduled game, it is the team captain’s responsibility to contact the opposing team’s captain and contact the volleyball coordinator (preferably within 24 hours of game). If no confirmation is received and opposing team shows, it will be considered a forfeit. We ask that each team arrives to the courts at least 10 minutes prior to each game. If a complete team (minimum of 4 players, 2 of those 4 being women) has not arrived within 15 minutes of game start time, the team will be marked as a forfeit.
ALL players including subs must sign the team roster/waiver. Team captains are responsible for making sure all players fill out and sign the roster/waiver and that it is turned in to the Volleyball Coordinator (Lori) before the first game of the season. (These will be emailed to all captains and also available in the beer hut).
We offer no monetary refunds after purchase/registration.
If you must cancel your team, notify us within 14 days of purchase and you can request a credit towards another registration that must be used on the next season.
Beyond 14 days from purchase we are not able to offer credit.
We will do our best to provide other rescheduling options for missed games, but cannot guarantee them. We are not able to provide refunds if all games are not played due to weather, team cancellations and/or acts of outside of our control.
The Mile Away will rarely cancel games prior to game time due to weather. WE TYPICALLY PLAY VOLLEYBALL RAIN OR SHINE!! The only time we will likely cancel games is during active lightning, or if there is an official weather WARNING alert. We will use our best judgment in cancellations and will post to our Facebook page. If possible, we will contact team captains via phone/email. Please DO NOT call the bar to see if your game is cancelled. If you have questions regarding anything volleyball related please call or text the Volleyball Coordinator at 402-318-7735.
